2:10 Police Collection of Human Remains - Rowan Carroll

A back-room police museum collection has housed 37 sets of human remains, in storage, for decades. And now, the remains will be laid to rest by the New Zealand Police Museum in Porirua. The collection includes remains of murder victims and was used for investigative training by detectives in the 1920s and 1930s. New Zealand Police Museum director Rowan Carroll explains.

Fraser, Ferdie, Fletch, Freda, Fen, Flo and Fern. These are some of the names suggested by the public, for two biosecurity pups that could soon be patrolling New Zealand's borders. The Ministry for Primary Industries is calling on people to make name suggestions for the beagles, on its Dectector Dogs Facebook page. MPI's detection technology manager, Brett Hickman.

There is an online world beyond cute cat videos and Facebook.  The murky world of trolls, black markets and extremists exists just a few keystrokes away. Jamie Bartlett, the director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media immersed himself in the  secret corners of encrypted  and untraceable websites. Drug dealers, even jihadists use it to recruit. Bartlett has written a book about his journey into the online shadows called The Dark Net: Inside The Digital Underworld.
