This Way Up
Observing the night sky and mapping the stars, planets and other celestial bodies in it, typically involves peering into a telescope and consulting star charts. It's not exactly an easy activity for blind people to participate in, or for students who can't see to engage with at school. A tactile astronomy project using 3D printed models is trying to change all that. This Way Up's Simon Morton visited Manurewa High School in Auckland.
