Taking On the Gaming Industry

With recent talk of equality and women's marches my next guest is a timely one, she's forging roads for females in the male dominated gaming industry.

Claire Barilla's a recent graduate of Media Design School and is making waves in the gaming industry after her game art was snapped up by one of New Zealand's largest games company PikPok before she had even finished her last year at school.

Also while still at studying Claire and five team mates started their own company releasing two games into the market, one of which won Best Student Award at Play By Play - an international event showcasing an interactive, public exhibition of grassroots game development talent and events.
