From Afternoons, 1:24 pm on 6 March 2017

The Tenancy Tribunal has made its first ruling on an Airbnb case, and it's ruled in favour of the landlord. The tribunal has ruled that sub-letting a rental property on the online accommodation marketplace Airbnb, is in breach of the Residential Tenancies Act. The decision was in favour of Wellington-based property manager Keith Powell, who's the director of Nice Place Property Management.
