5G Rural Internet

The United Nations say connectivity to the Internet is a basic human right, however one-year on, it says half of the planet is not connected. Most of these users live in rural and low-income areas. But our next guest has been looking at a solution. Associate professor Jairo Gutierrez, from AUT's School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, has been looking at how a 5G network could work.
