The 2017 International Film Festival programme was launched last week in Auckland and Wellington and film fans all over the country have been attacking their glossy brochures with hi-lighters trying to work out how much time they have to take off work.

Our regular Tuesday movie guy, Dan Slevin from RNZ Widescreen, has been investigating and shares his recommendations.
