West Side Story is the album from the 1961 film starring Natalie Wood and Richard Beymer. However their songs were overdubbed by Marni Nixon and Jim Bryant. West Side Story is a musical based on Romeo And Juliet, with music by Leonard Berstein and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The story is set in the blue collar Upper West Side of New York City in the mid-1950s.
