Vege prices rise due to humid weather

Jerry Prendergast from the vegetable industry, United Fresh body says after great prices all summer, things have taken a bad turn.

It's all down to the high humidity which has called rot in the paddocks.

He says the damp and heat basically cooks the vegetables in the field, so the sudden shortage of some crops has meant things like cauliflowers are selling for 10 dollars in some areas.
