How do you grow the regions economically?

The economic research agency BERL has criticised the Government for being too slow and too bureaucratic with its Provincial Growth Fund.

The Labour, NZ First and Greens government came to power in October last year on the back of big promises to better grow the regions.

But how easy is it to correctly dole out $1 billion a year and target the right projects? We talk to economist Geoff Simmons about ways the Government can invest well in the regions.
