On the brink of a cure

The cold has had the medical profession scratching their heads for hundreds of years maybe thousands.

Professor Ed Tate of Imperial University in London talks about an exciting development in finding a cure for the common cold. The drug will initially be aimed at sufferers of asthma and other respiratory illnesses.

Now, Ed Tate and his team have successfully tested a drug molecule capable of killing multiple strains of the disease.
