Auckland story with David Steemson

An Auckland community developer has launched an embroidery project, which she hopes will bring new and old cultures of New Zealand, together. Joan Hamilton is basing her plan on the"Democracy Tapestry"stitched by the Xhosa people of South Africa, which eventually raised funds for an HIV/AIDS hospital there.
