Auckland Story for 11 August 2010 - Pah Homestead Revival

Monte Cecilia House was built in the mid-1870's as Pah Homestead the"gentlemen's residence"of Auckland businessman James Williams, and sited at the top of his own park-like farm. It cost Williamson 25 thousand pounds to build, which today equates to NZ$30 million.
