Piringa

From Afternoons, 2:23 pm on 25 August 2010

Marina Seager's family has just purchased the old nurses home in Riverton in Invercargill. It's got 49 rooms, including 30 bedrooms and 8 toilets. The reason the Seager's bought the house is to help other families who find themselves without a place to stay. They've given it a new name, 'Piringa', which means shelter or refuge.
