Your Place - Mercer

Mercer has long been regarded as the southern most part of the Auckland Urban area. When the city of sails population first reach the one million mark, that stat came from a head count of those living within an area that stretched from Warkworth in the north, to Mercer in The south. Now Mercer, a once proud Railway town, is to become a Waikato town and most of the residents seem quite relaxed about it.
