If you want something done right, do it yourself. Or in the case of Simon Courtney of Christchurch, if you want a custom made bicycle in less than four years, build it yourself. An avid cyclist, Simon wanted a custom made bike from the United States, but was told he would have to go on the waiting list, and it could be about four year wait. So he took night classes in welding, got advice on bike building and built a bike himself in his spare time.
