School by Boat
The number of pupils at one of the country's remotest schools has nearly doubled after 10 Christchurch children joined them this week. Waitaria Bay School in Kenepuru Sound at the top of the South Island opened its doors to the pupils, among them 11-year-old Sarah McAnergney and sister Pippa who is eight. So remote is their new school that they have to travel there by boat. Their father Andrew McAnergney joins us just before he gets on the boat to pick them up.
