Winter Games

Opening ceremonies begin tonight in Queenstown for an event that declares itself the largest snowsports event in the world, the 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games. Over the next 16 days more than a thousand athletes from all over the world will compete in traditional events like skiing and curling, and X-games-style snowboarding and downhill races. Jim spoke to the Winter Games chief executive Arthur Klap.
