Your Place - Otautau

Today we're visiting the community that calls itself "The Heart of Western Southland." It was founded in 1861 to meet the needs of travelers on their way to the newly discovered Central Otago gold fields. Today, it's Coal not gold that makes its way through the town, en route to Bluff.
