The Missing Earhart Plane

A photo taken in 1937 may help solve one of aviations' most enduring mysteries - the disappearance of Amelia Earhart and her plane. Enhancements of a photo taken months after the disappearance show what might be landing gear sticking out of the water off the remote island of Nikumaroro in Kiribati. Ric Gillespie, executive director of the International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery, will be returning to Nikumaroro to resume his search for Amelia Earhart, and he talked to us from Delaware.
