Our Changing World - Primary School Science

Science and technology underpin modern life, yet in most New Zealand primary schools children are not being effectively taught science. But it's not all bad news - some passionate teachers are doing a great job teaching science, and there are some interesting initiatives designed to help make teachers more confident. To see some good primary science in action Alison Ballance heads to Eastern Hutt School in Lower Hutt, to meet teacher Kerry Harrison and the young scientists from her Science Club.
