Dr Marion Nestle is a globally-recognised expert in nutrition, food studies and public health. She's also a professor at New York University. Her new book, with co-author Malden Nesheim, explains what calories are, how they affect the body and why it's so easy to eat way more of them than we really need. The book is 'Why Calories Count: From Science to Politics'.
