Kids with higher levels of the widely used substance BPA in their bodies are more likely to be obese. This information comes from the first large-scale, nationally representative U.S. study to link an environmental chemical with obesity in children and teens. An Auckland council committee has heard concerns from North Shore groups on a proposed littering bylaw that seeks to stamp out unwanted, unaddressed mail.
