Food parcels from 1948 remembered

An English couple have finally arrived in New Zealand to acknowledge an act of kindness that came from this country more than 60 years ago. In 1948, a group of schoolchildren in Invercargill sent food parcels to families in England who had been bombed in World War Two. Roger Button was one of the children who received a parcel, and he has never forgotten it.
