Boston bomb blasts

At least three people are confirmed dead and over 100 injured, many of them critically, after two bombs went off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon early this morning New Zealand time. Forty-five kiwis were among the 27,000 runners this year, including Christchurch woman Liz Hadfield, who was about 200 metres from the blasts when they happened.
