The Tenzing Hillary Marathon is the highest race in the world. Starting at Everest Base Camp, a mere 5,364 feet above sea level, it runs through the Himalayas for 42 kilometres to the gateway to Namche Bazaar. Chris Dunn is a former Sir Edmund Hilary Scholar from the University of Waikato who has been in training for the marathon for the last few months.
