Hillary's Diary

Sixty years ago today, Ed Hillary was making his way up Mt Everest as part of a British expedition to conquer the world's tallest peak. Every day he kept a diary in a small notebook which is currently on display in the Auckland Museum. Mick Rose is reading the words of Edmund Hillary as he wrote them on Mt Everest.
