Award-winning essay winner Katherine McIndoe

Katherine McIndoe, 19, of Victoria University is the senior prize winner in the Royal Commonwealth Society's 2013 essay competition, which celebrated its 130th anniversary this year. Her essay, called 'A Letter to the Lost Girls', tackles human trafficking, forced prostitution and marriage, and the plight of girls who are not allowed to go to school.
