Topics - Researchers are using artificial intelligence to cut gridlock in cities by teaching traffic lights to 'talk' to each other. Rather than being coordinated centrally like current traffic lights, the new lights communicate among themselves, turning red or green based on the traffic flow they are seeing. A coroner has come close to recommending a ban on farm use of quad bikes in his written findings into five deaths related to their use. But Coroner Brandt Shortland stopped short of including a ban among his recommendations, saying the quad bike is entrenched as a vital farm tool. Family First has succeeded in getting Lady Gaga's nearly naked body removed from some Auckland buses.
