JFK assassination witness Bill Newman

50 years ago, Bill Newman and his family went to downtown Dallas to see President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie in the motorcade down Elm Street. Just as the limousine with the president and first lady passed them, they saw the fatal shot hit John F. Kennedy and heard the first lady's desperate cries. They dived to the ground and covered their children in a now famous photo.
