The Conducter - Tecwyn Evans

From Jesse Mulligan, 1–4pm, 2:08 pm on 19 May 2014

One of our most distinguished conducters is back in New Zealand for a brief visit where he will be teaching master classes and conducting a concert with the Southern Symphonia. Tecwyn Evans was born in Auckland and studied composition and conducting at the University of Otago, before a Fullbright scholarship whisked him off to the other side of the world and onto a glittering career conducting many of the world's best orchestras in the UK, Europe and Australia. He's worked with opera luminaries and conducted master musicians, and while his calendar is always full, returning home is something he never tires of.
