Flood rescue today

A Marlborough Boys College student became a life-saver today, after jumping into a river to rescue a 12-year-old girl. The girl was being swept away in the flooded Taylor River, in Blenheim, shortly before 9 o'clock this morning and police say it was 17-year-old Angus Pauley's quick- thinking that saved her.
