Kathmandu's FY net profit rise 13%, sales up 5%

The outdoor clothing and equipment retailer, Kathmandu, says new products and control of costs have driven a solid lift in its full year profit. The company's net profit has risen to $38 million for the year ended July compared with $33.5 million last year.
