House prices rise by 18% since market high in 2007

House prices across New Zealand have risen by almost 18-per-cent since the market high of 2007. The property valuers, QV, say in the past year alone, values jumped by almost 5-per-cent, with Auckland homes going up 9.8 per-cent, or by over 22-thousand dollars.
