Ardern talks politics in home town of Morrinsville

Labour has had a boost in the polls since Jacinda Ardern took over the leadership, but her home town, Morrinsville, in the heart of the Waikato, isn't exactly a hotbed for left-leaning voters.

Regardless, it's where Ms Ardern chose to kick off her election campaigning today - visiting her old school, Morrinsville College, as well as the fish and chip shop where she got her first job.
