Hundreds of teachers unaware of $10k allowance

Hundreds of school teachers may have missed out on thousands of dollars from a special allowance because hardly anyone knew about it. The allowance initially aimed to keep teachers in low decile schools for at least three years, and is now being rolled out across Auckland.
