Hurricane Irma due to hit Florida over the weekend

After leaving a trail of destruction and death across the northeast Carribean, Hurricane Irma is now starting to lash the Turks and Caicos Islands, before heading towards the Bahamas and then the US state of Florida. Up to 650,000 people have left and mandatory evacuation orders are now in force in the Florida Keys.
