Crown formally apologises to Te Arawa

Decades of grievances and distress for the people of Te Arawa in Rotorua ended today with a formal apology given by the Prime Minister John Key. Saying sorry was part of a treaty settlement reached between the Crown and the Iwi and Hapu after negotiations began in 2003.
