An American boutique brewery has dropped 'Maori King' from its collection of beers, following criticism, discussion and debate about the name of the drink; All school teachers are being given guidance on how to better understand the identity, language and culture of Maori students; The Government plans to give iwi and communities more of a say about oil and gas drilling and exploration; The chair of Te Putea Whakatupu Trust, Richard Jeffries, says there needs to be more focus on business and economic development among Maori, rather than relying on welfare.
