Ex-boyfriend changes plea, admits murdering Carmen Thomas

The lawyer for the man who's unexpectedly pleaded guilty to murdering Auckland mother Carmen Thomas says they'd have mounted a defence of provocation if the law still allowed it. Bradford Callaghan, who had earlier denied killing the woman who's the mother of his 6 year old son, has changed his plea.
