A Senior Lecturer at Waikato University's Te Piringia-Faculty of Law, says it's time Maori stopped relying on the court system to resolve their internal arguments; South Taranaki Maori are pitching in to help repair damage caused by a severe weather storm that lashed the region over the weekend; The Council of Trade Unions says it expected the ministerial inquiry into the use of foreign charter vessels to go further; The national smoking cessation service, Quitline, is applauding survey results which show out of 570 Maori teenage girls who smoked daily - about 250 of them stopped smoking last year.
