Opposition parties unite to fight "manufacturing crisis"

Opposition parties are convening a parliamentary inquiry into what they call New Zealand's jobs crisis in manufacturing. The move comes weeks after the Kawerau pulp and paper mill confirmed plans to halve production, and the Tiwai Point aluminium smelter in Southland confirmed 100 jobs are being cut.
