The government says after three years, 32-thousand Whanau Ora families now no longer need the support; A Far North Maori leader, Haami Piripi, plans to draw from his rural upbringing and experience on the marae to help struggling whanau in Aotearoa - now he's been appointed to the Families Commission; The Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers says a review in to the caseload of professionals in the field is confirmation they don't have enough time to help vulnerable children, including Maori; Waikato-Tainui has gifted land to the Hamilton City Council so it can repair a popular pathway alongside the Waikato River.
