The North Island didn't get the storms that were predicted earlier in the week, but it has turned bleak and generally colder. In the South Island, Canterbury is sitting under a blanket of snow. (6′23″)
Geraldine based whip maker Peter Jack, more commonly known to high country farmers as "The whip man", has been making stock whips, bull whips and snake whips for 26 years. (16′15″)
Frans and Tineke De Jong had never tasted a feijoa before they came to New Zealand 9 years ago. Now they're the largest exporters of feijoas in the country. They also grow peppers and chillies. (23′38″)
