Taranaki, Manawatu and Horowhenua have had wonderful rain, but facial eczema is rampant and some dairy farmers have had to dry off their whole herd, or at least some cows, early. Even farmers taking every precauction possible are finding their stock coming down with clincial signs of eczema. Marlborough's had most welcome rain, while the West Coast's had a bit too much this week.
