A selection of highlights from 2009 - The Chen family have spent 13 years nurturing tea bushes in Waikato. They're hoping to tap into the lucrative market for premium oolong tea - a product that sells for thousands of dollars a kilogram. Naseby is an isolated gold mining and farming town in the heart of the Maniatoto region of Central Otago. Cosmo Kentish-Barnes is there to meet local raconteurs Ross McMillian, Des Styles and Laurie Inder at the bar of the Ancient Briton Hotel, where a similar recording was done in 1947 by the peacetime mobile unit of the New Zealand Broadcasting Service.
