Setting up for Sheep:
Make sure fences all secure. Yards of some description are needed.
Buy older ewes. Five year olds have proven survivability and lambing results.
Select ewes on the Three T's - teeth, tits and toenails
Generally look at running 4 ewes to the acre. 10 to the hectare
Borrow cattle to help keep control of pasture quality.
Cattle graze the tops of pasture, ewes eat down low.
