This week..... Super Rugby kicks off here, we preview the five local teams' chances. The Warriors head to Dunedin for their final pre-season hitout, and we talk to coach Matt Elliott. Ross Taylor muses about his comeback century and the pressure on him for the Black Caps, and the Breakers cool their heels with no NBL game at a crucial time in the champions' season. (21′19″)

In Extra Time this week… among the smouldering ashes of New Zealand test cricket there's a flickering flame with the test win in Sri Lanka but current world number one South Africa now looms. We examine the state of Welsh rugby after it was knocked senseless by the All Blacks and in particularly Andrew Hore at Cardiff recently. Auckland City football's in line for a million dollar payout at the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan and in doing so will and will surpass Barcelona. And the New Zealand men's hockey team is out to re-establish its international credentials at the Champions Trophy tournament in Melbourne. (26′27″)
