It's been 40 years since the Maori King, Tuheitia, was a student at St Stephens Maori Boys School. Yet interschool rivalry was still tangible when he recently presented awards to old boys from his rival school of Te Aute College. Gentle ribbing was ever present in the formal address by Barna Heremia, who spoke on behalf of the Maori King.
