On Ideas this week we hear from four women who are at the forefront of those dealing with the consequences and trying to put an end to this most horrific of crimes:
Gina Stoian who heads up ADPARE an organization in Romania dedicated to reintegrating some of the thousands of Romanian child victims of trafficking; Susu Thatun UNICEF spokesperson on Child Trafficking; UNICEF Indonesia Representative Angela Kearney; and Marina Mahathir President of the Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) who recently took part as a juror in a mock trial in Indonesia where trafficked women gave testimony.
