This week Ideas looks at Indonesia's troubled Papua region where there is widespread dissatisfaction with Indonesian rule among the indigenous Melanesians. While human rights abuses, violence and humanitarian crises have continued largely unchecked for four decades under the control of the Indonesian military, we look at what the international community is doing to address the situation.
